Habitual Grace Records & Tapes exists to release music/product because: A. We wrote it or B. We love it. We have the laid-back attitude that comes from living in the wide open spaces of central Texas, and we are inspired by the D.I.Y. attitude of Eugene Chadbourne, Trey Gunn, Robert Fripp/DGM, Daniel Johnston, Tape Op Magazine, etc. Innovative, forward-thinking, eclectic and international, our artists include The Gilliam Section, Johnny Love, Gerald Benesch, and Himmel (featuring Gary Davenport) with many guests artists including Alan Van Dyke, Andy Lee (The Failed), Moon, Hyperbubble, Alessandra Celletti, James H. Latest CD offering on on Habitual Grace Records and Tapes features Gerald Benesch's aural delight HUMAN TOUCH, a brilliant collage of sounds,beats, scapes and manipulations; Mr. Benesch has travelled the world not just physically but through his collection of music too: from Algerian Christians to muezzins calling for prayer or simply swiss yodlers. Completing them at times with Mr. Love's voice and eccentric guitar, with slow and heavy beats he came up with a selection of träxxx beyond a possible style declaration. Did we mention Ghandi and Mr. Edison were involved too?
